Welcome to Squirreled Away’s online home! Here you’ll find handcrafted one of a kind cotton figurines, jewelry and other treasures I’ve come up with along the way. All my creations are made using vintage, re-purposed and some new materials.
I pull a lot of my inspiration from flea market finds, including the vintage post cards, buttons and Christmas ornaments I’ve been collecting ever since my mom first starting bringing me to antique stores. I love to find new ways to either recreate some of these wonderful treasures or new ways to incorporate precious flea market finds into my work. Nothing is more rewarding that helping old pieces and designs find a second life and a new home!
